My wife and I and out 2 kids came here while we were stopping thru. The food was fantastic and the service was amazing. Our server was phenomenal. I highly recommend giving this spot a try

Food was okay, not terrific, and dinner service was slow and careless. Took nearly 1.25 hr to get the meals to our table and only came after we went looking for waiter. Even then, one meal took another 10 minutes, and was improperly cooked with lukewarm sauce. Coffee for one in our group was tepid and waiter was again missing from sight. They must do something right tho, because the restaurant was full and busy. It has a nice outside patio and a bright, glassed in room for small groups. Downtown Mill Valley must have something better.

Very fancy, tablecloth pizza restaurant! They make thin-crust specialty/artisanal/gourmet pizzas, so you won't find a "large pizza with combo toppings" here. They do have a very delicious pepperoni pizza, however. I also liked their artichoke and prosciutto pizza as well as the broccolini and sweet onion. Each pizza is about 10 inches and 6 slices. Everything tasted really good!! This isn't the kind of pizza with a bubbly crust, but it was still really chewy and tasty. I finished every last bite!

Lovely Italian restaurant in downtown Mill Valley. Food was plentiful and tasty. It was quite busy on Friday night and obviously a favorite with the locals. We split and entree and a fire baked pizza. Both were delicious! This is a bustling lively place, so it was a bit loud. Sit in the front area by the windows to avoid the noise.

Service at the bar was wonderful! Very friendly and professional bartender (can't remember her name)!

Wow. If in the mood for pizza or pasta look no further. Legitimately one of the best Italian Restaurants in the bay area.

Ambiance, thy name is cafeteria.Piazza D'Angelo was a decent restaurant, ambiance was... lacking, it was very noisy and some curtains or sound deadening foam across the ceiling would go a long way to improving the noise level. As for food, my dish (which I can't remember the name of) was a very good fettuccine based dish with mushrooms and bacon, and my wife's was a giant cheese covered ravioli, and while both were good, for the money they didn't 'wow' us. On the bright side, the service was great, very on top of it and our food was delivered to our table in maybe three minutes, much faster than I expected.Topping off dinner though was the dessert, which was a three layered chocolate mousse which was small, but amazing, and very rich.Also, while we weren't in the mood for drinks tonight, their drink menu looked very good.

The salads and pizzas were awesome. We enjoyed the atmosphere, and the server did a great job. Thanks for a nice last night visiting the Bay Area.

This place very exceptionally delicious. Every item we ordered was amazing! I would highly recommend stopping by Piazza D'Angelo. The staff was warm, inviting and always there at the right times. We tried the pizza Capricciosa, it was cooked just right, crispy, thin, but not too thin. The beet salad was perfectly balanced, very healthy, very refreshing! I could go on but an excellent experience awaits you.

Family owned and operated Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Mill Valley. Features both indoor and covered patio dining as well as a couple of seasonal al fresco tables in the front during warm weather. Food is excellent and carefully carefully prepared. Staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. Certain local celebrities have made this place a regular stop over the years. Atmosphere is elegant casual. Families and kids are welcome, and everyone has a good time. Worth a trip - - Check it out

An old favorite whenever we visit my MIL in Mill Valley. Reasonable prices, excellent food and service, pleasant decor, located right on the quiet main town square, and also has an imaginative chef who periodically prepares and features equally imaginative integrated food and wine tasting menus. Get there soon!

I love this place and it is my go-to place to have dinner when we are eating out. It has very good food and the staff are very flexible with our orders.

We lived in Mill valley many years ago and new the owner. The kids run it now and the food is good but the place lacked the warmth and friendly atmosphere. That it use to have.

My pasta dish, tortellini, was excellent. We also enjoyed the view.

I like this place and go there often and have done for over 20 years. It has a good happy hour at that starts early and ends at 6 and the bar is a good place to meet friendly people willing to open up and talk and laugh and it's very unpretentious

Love this restaurant! I only ever sit at the bar. But everyone I've come in contact with is always super friendly and helpful in explaining certain dishes I'm unfamiliar with. Food is great too! Next visit, I'll have to try their dessert 😍
